The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held the draw on February 13, invited 242 candidates in the Skilled Worker in Manitoba, Skilled Worker Overseas and the International Education Stream.
The invitations, also called Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), were distributed as follows:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 182 (Minimum 525 Points)
- Skilled Workers Overseas: 27 (Minimum 611 Points)
- International Education Stream: 33
All these above categories aren’t aligned with Federal Express Entry system. Even if you are not eligible for Express Entry FSW and CRS points you can still apply and do not need an Express Entry profile in order to apply to the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category, and successful applicants will not obtain 600 points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
Skilled Workers Overseas:
The famous stream of Provincial Nomination Program which is Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO). Those International workers who have a family or friend connection in Manitoba can be able to obtain Canadian permanent residence through this stream.
International Education Stream:
The Manitoba International Education Stream is helping to International graduates who live in Manitoba and wish to remain in the province as permanent residents. Manitoba’s intention is to provide a faster route to Canadian permanent resident status for international graduates who have studied at any institution in Manitoba.
There are three pathways under the Manitoba International Education Stream.
- Career Employment Pathway
- Graduate Internship Pathway
- International Student Entrepreneur Pilot
Skilled Workers in Manitoba:
Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is aimed at helping skilled temporary workers in the province immigrate to Manitoba, Canada as Canadian permanent residents.
Manitoba recognizes that foreign workers and international graduates in Manitoba are among the best-suited newcomers to make a permanent life in the province, to establish themselves quickly and successfully, and to make a positive contribution to Manitoba’s economy and community.
