Canada held another Express Entry Invitations draw exclusive for PNP candidates on 29th April, 2020 for applying the Immigration to Canada.
In the latest draw of Express Entry rounds, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) sent 589 invitations to provincial nomination program candidates with Comprehensive Ranking Scores (CRS) as low as 692.
Including 692 CRS scores, candidates had awarded 600 points of provincial nomination from their provinces and only 92 CRS scores have had before nomination. It was down 116 points since the last PNP-targeted draw.
It is a high chance that IRCC will held limited Express Entry draws only for PNP and CEC candidates for the time being in response to COVID-19. It is unclear how long these restrictions will remain in place.

Candidates follow Canadian Immigration points and are ranked in the pool based on a score awarded under the CRS that considers factors such as age, education, skilled work experience, and proficiency in English or French and then picked up in subsequent Canada Express Entry Invitations draw.
The Express Entry manages the pool of candidates for three of Canada’s main skilled labor immigration categories – the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class.
A job offer is not required in order to be eligible for an Express Entry invitation to apply (ITA), though additional CRS points are awarded if a candidate has one.
Canada released new Immigration plan for 2020-22 to welcome 341,000 new permanent residents in 2020, 351,000 in 2021, and 361,000 in 2022.
